The Crossing Tee
No mass-produced fast merch. Just good gear.
Hip-hop's Abbey Road, redrawn in soundwaves.
Four figures step across the frame. Behind them a city folds into colour and a waveform runs like a heartbeat. It is the most famous crossing in music, lifted out of London and dropped into the Bronx, where a very different record was about to be made.
The Story
Abbey Road got the album cover. The Bronx got the block party. August 11th, 1973, a rec room at 1520 Sedgwick Avenue, DJ Kool Herc puts two copies of the same record on two turntables and stretches the break until the room loses its mind. No studio, no label, no permission. Just a crossing into everything that came after. This is that moment drawn as one image: the walk, the wave, the skyline, the spark.
